The epistle provides a detailed logical accounting of God’s salvation plan for mankind to resolve the problem caused by Adam and Eve’s sin, which plunged all of humanity into spiritual death.  Paul provides an exhaustive treatment of God’s salvation by grace as opposed to the widely accepted salvation by works system of his day.
